Anticiper les besoins futurs en compétences

The event will take place in Brussels and will be an opportunity to discuss the most recent developments presented in the 2018 Review on Employment and Social Developments in Europe.
The conference will examine the important opportunities as well as the risks of the ongoing fast technological transformation, together with globalisation and demographic change. It will explore the key adjustment needs in order to ensure that EU workers can reap the benefits of these developments.
The conference will bring together high-level external experts from employment and social ministries, social partners, academia international organisations, civil society organisations and business (Microsoft, Uber).
It is organised by the European Commission in cooperation with the European Economic and Social Committee. Marianne Thyssen, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility will open the event.
