International organizations
Information is gathered from other international organizations that promote skills development and the transition from education and training to work. The Interagency Group on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (IAG-TVET) was established in 2009 to share research findings, coordinate joint research endeavours, and improve collaboration among organizations working at the international and national levels.

Whether acquired at school or in the workplace, every day people across the globe use their skills to make the world a better place. Unfortunately, there is a lack of practical and insightful evidence on how people worldwide are benefitting from technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The stories remain largely untold, which hinders awareness raising and further investments in TVET.
This Award is targeted towards TVET students, graduates, teachers, (social) entrepreneurs and individuals between the age of 15 and 35 years who could demonstrate that they have inspired others and have acted as an ambassador for TVET in their respective communities.
