Le projet Appui à l’Initiative mondiale pour l’emploi décent des jeunes dans la région du Sahel vise à appuyer les pays à la conception et à la mise en œuvre d’un cadre national et des initiatives pour promouvoir des apprentissages de qualité. Dans ce cadre, cinq études de cas dans les cinq pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest (Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Niger et Togo) ont été menés pour analyser leur système d’apprentissage et pour proposer des recommandations pour une transition vers des systèmes d’apprentissage de qualité au sens de l’OIT.

Ces recommandations traitent, pour chacun des pays, des mesures pour l’amélioration de l’apprentissage traditionnel (informel) et de la transition de l’apprentissage dual (formel) vers un apprentissage de qualité au sens de l’OIT.
