Launch of the engagement platform of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth

This meeting brought together current and potential partners of the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth with the objective of examining progress and accelerating joint action. The information session served as a platform to launch the online engagement platform and present commitments of partners.

Meeting objectives included the following:

- Introduce the Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and inform about the progress made;
- Present institutional commitments in support of Decent Jobs for Youth and launch the engagement platform for partnerships;
- Stimulate engagement across thematic priorities and steps to scale up action, impact and engagement in 2017 and beyond;
- Present the ILO Toolkit for Quality Apprenticeships.
