Une gouvernance et une coordination efficaces sont des éléments clés de la réussite des systèmes de compétences. Si la coordination est un facteur important, elle doit fonctionner parallèlement à d'autres conditions clés pour renforcer la gouvernance. Lorsque la gouvernance à plusieurs niveaux est soutenue par une communication efficace, un financement durable et une coordination efficace, elle a les meilleures chances de soutenir la mise en place d'un écosystème LLL qui permet aux individus et aux entreprises de naviguer plus efficacement dans le monde du travail et de l'apprentissage. Cette note d'orientation passe en revue les questions clés qui affectent la gouvernance et la coordination des systèmes de compétences et propose un certain nombre de mesures et de principes à travers lesquels des réformes peuvent avoir lieu. Il s'appuie sur des recherches récentes de l'OIT, de l'UNESCO et d'autres organisations internationales pour souligner l'importance de la coordination et montre comment une coordination plus efficace peut avoir des effets positifs tangibles sur la gouvernance et les domaines clés de politique et de pratique dans les systèmes de compétences.
