National Action Plan on Disability 2012-2020 is envisioned as the main strategy of the Austrian government to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities for the coming years. It has been developed with the involvement of the organisations of people with disabilities and civil society. With 8 main areas of action and a total of 250 actions, the Plan's scope covers the policy level, antidiscrimination, accessibility, education and training, employment, independent living, health and rehabilitation as well as awareness raising and information.
