Labour market: The case of vocational training in Jordan
This report presents the findings of a study conducted between August and September 2013 across eight governorates to assess the status of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Jordan, perceptions of TVET amongst employed and unemployed youth, students, as well as the business community. The study also attempted to measure the appeal of TVET as a potential career path, as well as a potential supply of labour, awareness and knowledge of training centres and offerings to both youth and business community, and how the latter can benefit from TVET.
