La nouvelle Commission a fixé une ambition élevée pour l'UE: passer à une économie verte et numérique. Un investissement renforcé dans les compétences et l'apprentissage tout au long de la vie pour tous est essentiel pour réussir cette transition. Étant donné que tous les adultes devront se perfectionner et se recycler, l'enseignement et la formation professionnels (EFP) joueront un rôle central dans la stratégie de croissance durable.

Cedefop est prêt à contribuer au développement et à la réalisation du futur agenda des compétences et de l'EFP dans le cadre de sa mission de travailler sur l'EFP, les compétences et les qualifications, énoncée dans son règlement de refonte (en vigueur depuis 2019). Le règlement garantit la recherche, les analyses et le soutien du Cedefop aux pays qui relient l'EFP et le marché du travail.
