La nueva Comisión ha establecido una gran ambición para la UE: avanzar hacia una economía verde y digital. Una inversión reforzada en habilidades y aprendizaje permanente para todos es esencial para que esta transición sea exitosa. Dado que todos los adultos necesitarán mejorar y volver a capacitarse, la educación y formación profesional (FP) desempeñará un papel central en la estrategia para un crecimiento sostenible.

Cedefop está listo para contribuir al desarrollo y la realización de las habilidades futuras y la agenda de FP como parte de su misión de trabajar en FP, habilidades y calificaciones, establecidas en su regulación refundida (vigente desde 2019). La regulación garantiza la investigación, el análisis y el apoyo de Cedefop a los países que vinculan la EFP al mercado laboral.
