Young and female - a double strike? Gender analysis of school-to-work transition surveys in 32 developing economies

This report explores the experiences and constraints faced by young women and men in the world of work. Based on the school-to-work transitions surveys (SWTS) of 32 developing countries run between 2012 and 2015, the report concludes that being young and female can serve as a double strike for those seeking to find productive employment.
