Community guidelines

The following guidelines apply to anyone contributing content on any platform that allows user-generated content and is managed by the International Labour Organization (ILO) e.g. the Skills for Employment Global Public-Private Knowledge Sharing Platform (Global KSP).

Any user-generated content, such as comments published in discussions and documents, expresses only the views of its author. It does not necessarily reflect the official views of the ILO or the views of any other person participating on the platform. 

The designations employed in ILO materials, which are in conformity with United Nations practice, and the presentation of content do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of the ILO concerning the legal status of any country, area or territory or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers.

Reference to names of firms and commercial products and processes does not imply their endorsement by the ILO, and any failure to mention a particular firm, commercial product or process is not a sign of disapproval.

Nothing these guidelines shall constitute or be considered to be a limitation upon or a waiver of the privileges and immunities of the ILO.

The ILO does not share your personal information with outside parties. Please refer to our privacy policy  for more details. However, since platforms used, such as the blog and the comment box are hosted, may be provided by third parties, make sure that you have read the third party providers’ terms of use and privacy policies concerning the use of your personal data before commenting. 

 

Comments

Every comment will be read and checked by an ILO moderator for compliance with the guidelines below before it is published. 

Be aware that the platforms allowing user-generated content, including the Global KSP are public websites. Anybody can read and access in the contents of your comment once they are published.

The ILO reserves the right to refuse or delete any submitted contribution. Spam messages will be removed and users who do not comply with the guidelines will be banned. If you view a comment that violates these guidelines, contact the Global KSP team at  knowledge@skillsforemployment.org , explaining the issue regarding the published comment.
